The Renal Dialysis Services at Capital Health is the only hospital-owned and operated dialysis program in the area. Consisting of 28 Hemodialysis and 3 Home Training (CAPD and CCPD) stations, this pleasant, state-of-the-art facility provides acute and chronic services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership to staff and overall planning, clinical management, patient care, budgeting and quality management for the unit, consisting of 47 FTEs. 

  • There is an assistant nurse manager in these areas who will support the nurse manager.

  • Will facilitate unit and facility teams/committees that impact practice; integrates and links unit committee initiatives to facility initiatives.

  • Assists in the resolution of conflict among healthcare team members, patients and families.
  • Delegates patient care activities and coordinates unit activities. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master’s preferred.
  • One year of full-time experience in nursing supervision and/or nursing administration in a licensed health care facility plus one year of full-time experience in nursing supervision and/or nursing administration in a Hemodialysis setting within the last 24 months.
  • Valid NJ RN license.
